So it seems after quite some time there is finally a Communicator Client available for the iPhone. The app is called iDialogue and made by a company called Modality Systems and is available for purchase from the iTunes AppStore.

This is big news for the iPhone in the corporate world running majorly on the Microsoft stack of applications as since the release of iPhone software v.2.0 we have seen the introduction of:

• Exchange ActiveSync Support (Native)

and now

• OCS Client that supports OCS 2007 R2

which when coupled with what is arguably the best mobile web browser available to support some sharepoint functionality makes the iPhone a seriously viable option for the business user.
